At the time Rosemary was living in Mansfield, PA while earning her Bachelor's degree and Taylor lived in Montoursville working full-time, they had been messaging for a little over a week and made plans for a first date on February 25th (which coincidentally is Taylor's birthday). Their first date was at the Lycoming Mall, where they spent most of the time in Books-A-Million and spent hours together talking and laughing. Taylor even bought Rosemary a coffee at Joe Muggs (a rip-off of Starbucks in Barnes and Noble) and it was the worst coffee she had ever tasted, but it didn't really matter because she knew Taylor was someone special and there would be more dates and more coffee.
It was March 3rd, 2021 and Rosemary and Taylor had decided to spend the day out together for their 4 year anniversary. Their last stop on their anniversary was a local ice cream shop in Ithaca called Purity Ice Cream Co. (best ice cream ever!) When they finally got their favorite ice creams (chocolate peanut butter and madigan mint), they decided to sit outside at one of the picnic tables. While they were sitting outside the wind started to pick up and Rosemary got cold, as per usual, so Taylor knelt by Rosemary and hugged her to help her get warm. Rosemary got distracted by something on the street and when she looked back, Taylor was knelt holding the ring and asked her to marry him. Of course, she said yes!
