Most of the events will be in the 12th and the 20th Arrondissement where we live. While the 12th is more well-known, the 20th, Taking up large swathes of the city's northeast, Paris' 20th and last arrondissement (municipal district) is a traditionally working-class area whose immigrant roots, stately Père-Lachaise cemetery and surprisingly quiet stretches do lend a particular charm. It's also why artists and students have flocked to the area in recent years, attracted by lower rents and space for studios, an interesting and edgy nightlife scene, and a distinctively metropolitan feel that diverges from the postcard-perfect Paris you're probably accustomed to. Nearby arrondissements include 11th, 12th, and the 19th. www.airbnb.com is also a great option too!

Very hip hotel in Pigalle. Rooms are small but well appointed. And you can't beat the price! The neighborhood is notorius for it sex shops, the Moulin Rouge and a 10 minute walk from my old adorable neighborhood, Montmartre! (Hello Amelie movie!) Did I mention that Stef and I had our first date in Place Pigalle? Yeah, good memories.
Hotel
Best Westerns here tend to be more upscale than the ones in the USA. The prices are very reasonable from $91 per room (double) per night. They are a great value if you want to stay in the center of Paris in one of the more touristy areas. You can find one or more in almost every neighborhood.
