We’re getting married!

In the summer of 2012, Roselly was a high school junior in marching band. That same year, Samuel was a freshman. She can't say she remembered him; but he remembered her. Fast forward many many years later and the two rekindle with Sam saying, "Didn't you go to LC?". Of course, he knew. They go on their first official date and Samuel cheerfully goes home. Roselly however, is consumed by familial responsibilities and uncertainty and wishes Samuel well. It would be a year later when Roselly discovers Samuel was at the same concert she was at. She wonders, and poses the question to her dear best friends, "what if the timing was off?" With their encouragement, she reaches out and so officially begins their story. .............................................. Era el verano de 2012, Roselly estaba en su tercer ano de la prepa. Samuel estaba en su primer ano. Ella no puede decir que se acordaba de el- el si se acordabe de ella. Muchos muchos anos despues, y los dos se reencuentran, cuando Sam le pregunta, "a caso estuviste en esta prepa?" Claro que ya lo sabia. Salen juntos por primera vez y Samuel se va muy alegre. Roselly esta llena de responsabilidades y de incertidumbre y le desea lo mejor. Pasaria un ano cuando Roselly se entera que estuvieron en el mismo concierto. Se pone a pensar, y le pregunta a sus amistades, "y si no mas no fue el tiempo adecuado?" Con su apoyo, se pone en contacro, y el resto es historia. :)

Roselly and Sam knew from the get go that neither of them were going into this relationship without the hopes of a future together. Roselly knew what she wanted and Sam knew what he wanted. Marriage was always the plan, how couldn’t it be? Roselly is so accepting of Sam and all his quirks like no other. Sam is always providing Roselly with a safe place to be heard and to confirm that everything is alright. Coupled with the multitude of other reasons the two fell in love, they had reached a point where there could be no other outcome. Sam created increasing suspense leading up to the proposal with making sure they were both always dressed up extra for some lovely date nights (as they did often). Once the excitement could no longer be contained.. he created a plan. He had prepared a spot in the Carmel Central Park on top of a rock which was an often frequented spot for the two. He laid out an array of flowers and petals across this dark boulder and ran home to grab his beloved. Rose knew something was up on this day, a picnic wasn’t new for them however Sam insisted on having them dressed nicely rather than in athletic clothes. However, Rose couldn’t be sure due to the other date nights leading up to this point. When they arrived to the park it would take a brief walk to reach the boulder. Sam, as nervous as ever, began to lead Rose. His heart raced, his shirt was covered in sweat, and his words were slurred and mumbled. Despite all this, he was ready, ready for the rest of his life. Once at the boulder, both of them were in shock from the excitement. Sam got down on one knee and proposed “¿quieres casarte conmigo?”. Rose, in tears, laughs and says “oooo bilingue”, then proceeds to say “Claro Que si”. Of course, yes!
