Rosella & Ryan met at LA Fitness February 2020. Rosella worked the front desk part time after building with her dad during the day. Ryan came in daily like clockwork. They got to talking about life, friends, and family during Rosella's work shifts. Ryan would often stay for an hour or so at a time after his workout to talk to her. They finally got the courage to talk outside of Rosella's shift hours when Rosella gave Ryan her phone number. Their first work out together was on Valentines Day! When meeting the families, they discovered that when they were little, Ryan & Rosella used to live near each other. The LoDucas moved when she was 5 years old, and the two never met until 2020. If the LoDuca's would've stayed in that subdivision, maybe they would have met sooner? Only God knows.

Ryan had preplanned his proposal months in advance, and Rosella had no clue....(well sorta). Ryan told me Rosella they were going out to dinner with friends Leah & Jared in Port Huron. In the weeks leading up to this day, Rosella started picking up on her family's subtle behavioral changes. (Some of them which were not so subtle.) When Rosella confronted her sister that she had a feeling that Ryan would propose, Vita told me Rosella she was delusional. Vita then had to forewarn Ryan & the moms to alter the original dinner plans. On the day of their engagement, Ryan picked Rosella up and drove an hour away to the Blue Water Bridge. Unbeknownst to Rosella, driving behind them was Rosella's family. The two took a stroll down the boardwalk where Ryan shared his feelings said and couldn't wait for a lifetime of adventures to come. He dropped down on one knee, and Rosella cried. Her eyes were filled with overwhelming tears of joy & excitement! Ryan's grinned from ear to ear when she finally gathered herself and said "YES!". After Ryan proposed, he had another surprise for Rosella. Ryan gathered both the LoDuca & Weber families to celebrate their engagement at Freighters restaurant. They laughed, they cried, they ate, and celebrated with Vita's Cakery & champagne. They had the perfect day...full of love & family.
