We're Getting Married!

In December of 2021, James’s sister, who had been a longtime client of Brittany, introduced the two, thinking they might just hit it off. They connected on FaceTime the night before Brittany left for a vacation and stayed up late talking. Just a few hours later, James called again to make sure she was awake for her early flight. He offered to pick her up from the airport when she returned, and on December 29th, 2021, they officially met at the McNamara Terminal at DTW. Even James' family was surprised. Picking someone up from the airport? Unheard of. Given his famously poor sense of direction, they even questioned whether he’d find the right terminal. They joked that if James was willing to brave airport traffic for a girl, it must be serious. And they were right. From that moment on, they were inseparable, even though James lived in a tiny town an hour away that Brittany, an Ann Arbor city girl, had never even heard of. She was sure the distance would be their downfall, but by April 2022, she was mostly moved in. Their golden retriever puppy, Luca, was born on 12/22/22, and came home with them on 3/25/23. In August 2023, Brittany finally convinced James to move back to civilization, and they settled into a home in Brighton. In July 2024, they found out they were expecting, and James received the best birthday gift ever on March 21st, 2025, baby boy James Dean. But not before he could pop the question- James proposed to Brittany the day before in their bedroom on March 20th, just 2 hours before Brittany would spontaneously go into labor. Now here they are, planning the wedding of their dreams with all their favorite people.
