Jamie and Robert met on Match.com. Robert sent Jamie a "like" and a message saying, "you have a very nice smile". They talked for a bit and met in person on their first date on 2/9/2020 at Cane Rosso on international pizza day, and the rest is history! A few of Jamie and Robert's favorite memories from their early dating days: One hot day in Texas, they were walking on a nature trail and decided to take a shortcut to get back to the beginning of the trail quicker. However, that "shortcut" was miscalculated and ended up making that one of the longest hikes in history. Once they finally finished the hike, they took a picture together, and that was the very first picture these two ever took together. Another favorite memory of theirs is the time they cooked their family favorite meals for each other. Robert made Jamie Greek food, and Jamie made Robert Italian food.  Jamie and Robert's proposal was a bit unique as they ended up being dual proposals. In Feb 2021 the couple found a wonderful family owned ring shop where they together created their vision for Jamie's engagement ring. Jamie wanted to surprise Robert by being the first to propose. So, on 6/26/2021, Jamie took Robert to the Dallas Reunion Tower and proposed to him. On 7/9/2021, Robert took Jamie to Reata's and also to the Ft Worth Water Gardens and proposed to her.  They are excited about their future together and look forward to continuing to create and grow their love story.  *We can't wait to celebrate with you at our wedding reception in September!* XO Jamie and Robert
