We met at our workplace Hollister Co. in Joplin, MO. Joey worked as an impactor (stocking items) and I worked out front selling items. He became best friends with my brother so he was at my house all the time.

Because he was best friends with my brother, he was at my house all the time. We spent a lot of time together. One day, he came over to show my parents his motorcycle and that was it. We flirted a little bit and finally got together. We've been together ever since.

Joey took me to a convention for my favorite video game. At the convention, I received a quest which I thought was for the video game, not from Joey. I did the quest and was freaking out the whole weekend thinking I failed and wouldn't receive the reward. At the end of the convention, Joey told me he got kicked out and I needed to come find him. I came outside to the fountain with the beautiful lights. He was there with a Blizzcon employee. She gave me another quest that asked if I would accept the reward. Then I turned around and Joey was on one knee proposing. It was the perfect proposal.
