Our story began 16 years ago at a Catholic church, of all places. There is something to be said about the irony of that situation, as the world has changed a lot in the last decade, and acceptance back then was not as forthcoming. If you are doing the math, yes, we were quite young. Too young to have any concept of life really, of who we were or what we were meant to do, but there was a connection between us. That much was undenyable. Still as teens it wasnt the right time, yet friendship endured. Through multiple relationships, the birth of Alexzandra, college degrees, and moves across the country, our bond stayed strong. Physically in and out of each others lives, every contact reaffirmed the connection was never going to fade, but the timing was never right. Jessie remained to Roseanne “the one that got away” and visa versa. You grow through what you go through, and we evidently have had a lot to learn. Jessie and Roseanne are not the same as they were in 2003, each progressing and discovering who they are, what they are meant to do. As each made decisions to go after what they wanted in life, Jessie expressed a desire to finish her master’s degree and Roseanne had a room to rent while she did. It’d been three years since last they saw each other. But it was evident from that first day the time was finally right. Both single, both ready. Sometimes life has a funny way of bringing two people who are meant to be together back into each others lives. After all of these years the universe has deemed us worthy of this. We want to celebrate our joy with you.
