FAQs

Question

What to Wear

Answer

The weather in Puerto Vallarta is warm and humid. With the beach as our backdrop, we recommend gentlemen opt for lightweight pants or dress shorts alongside a button-down shirt or polo. Women can wear sundresses or chic dressy separates. Please wear appropriate footwear to be comfortable on the beach - you may end up barefoot! We ask that you shoot for earthy neutrals and/or sunset color palettes for wedding attire.

Question

Getting To and From the Wedding

Answer

A private bus will transport you and our guests from Playa Los Arcos Hotel to the Marina. Meet downstairs in the lobby of Playa Los Arcos Hotel for bus transportation to the marina. From there, you will board a complimentary catamaran that will take you to and from Las Caletas for the wedding ceremony and reception. The boat will depart from the Maritime Terminal, Puerto Magico, at 4:30PM and will return at 11:30PM. Please stay at the marina for bus transportation back to Playa Los Arcos Hotel. Please let us know if you do not intend to use bus transport. Las Caletas is only accessible by private boat, therefore you must be on time to catch your ride to the wedding! Stay posted for specifics regarding transportation times.

Question

Do I need pesos?

Answer

Pesos are not necessary, but are nice to have for tipping. Most places accept credit/debit cards and US dollars. The exchange rate is usually $0.18 pesos/$1 USD. For a quick estimate, divide the cost in pesos by 20 and that's the approximate cost in USD. There are ATMs conveniently located near Playa Los Arcos Hotel for withdrawal if you need it!
