What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Ceremony: New Orleans Pharmacy Museum, 514 Chartres St, New Orleans, LA 70130. Reception: Napoleon House, 500 Chartres St, New Orleans, LA 70130.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The ceremony location is wheelchair accessible. The courtyard at the reception venue is wheelchair accessible but the rest of the event space (dance floor, dinner space, etc) is not wheelchair accessible and is accessed via stairs. There is no elevator at either location.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, to allow all of our guests, including parents, the chance to have an evening of relaxation, we request that the ceremony and reception be for adults only.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is Black-tie optional. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie, and women wear floor length dresses, evening gowns, or formal suits.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have three! Please refer to "The Destination" page for hotel room block information and discount codes. The cut-off dates to reserve under the special group rates are: Ritz Carlton [Host Hotel]: January 12th, 2024 Cambria: January 23rd, 2024 NOPSI: January 24th, 2024

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

All three hotel recommendations are within a 7 - 15 min walk or less than 5 - 7 min car ride away from the Ceremony and Reception venues. New Orleans is a city with Ubers/ Lyfts -a- plenty!

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

The wedding is in the French Quarter and parking is limited. We encourage all our guests to taxi, rideshare, arrange other transport, or walk to the venues so you can take full advantage of the open bar.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We would love to see everyone invited at the Welcome Soirée, 6:30 PM Friday, February 23, 2024 at Sidecar Patio & Oyster Bar. An open bar, heavy hors d'oeuvres, Shrimp boil, and Oyster bar will kick off the weekend! 1100 Constance St, New Orleans, LA 70130 Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.

Is this an unplugged Ceremony?

Answer

We appreciate our friends and family putting away their phones and cameras for the ceremony.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony: Outdoors at the Pharmacy Museum, but not on grass, so feel free to flaunt your best heels! Cocktail Hour: weather permitting, in the open courtyard at the Napoleon House. Reception: Indoors at the Napoleon House.

What is a New Orleans Reception?

Answer

New Orleans receptions are typically not seated dinners, but consist of heavy passed items at the start of the reception, open action stations and buffets, with emphasis on lots of food options, lots of beverages, and a highly dynamic and social atmosphere that allows guests to move freely about the reception space. We promise to make every attempt to accommodate our vegetarian, pescatarian, and carnivore friends!
