Questions?

The Wedding Website of Rose Poelzer and Kyle House
Still have questions after reading the below list? Reach out to Linda, Rose, or Kyle.
Question

Can I bring a plus-one? Can I bring my children?

Answer

We have a large number of family and friends attending so space at the venue is limited. Please refer to your RSVP options to see the names of those who are invited, or if you have been given a plus-one. If you have a child and their name is listed on the RSVP form, we would be more than happy to see them to attend with you. However, if you would prefer to treat our wedding as a date night and get a sitter that is totally fine as well. Do whatever means you will have the best time, and please reflect your decision in your RSVP so we know who to expect!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We ask you to please RSVP promptly, by November 15th at the latest. If you have not RSVP'd by that date we will assume you are not able to attend and will open your seat(s) for another friend or family member.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There will be free street parking around our venue due to the New Year's Day holiday, however please leave ample time to park as we have just learned there will be a sporting event at T-Mobile Park at Noon on our wedding day so traffic and parking may be affected. We will also have a load-unload zone marked off directly in front of the venue for dropping people off before you park if needed.

Question

Are you having an unplugged ceremony? What does that mean?

Answer

Yes, we are! It means we ask our family and friends to respect our wishes and leave their phones and cameras turned off and put away for the entire duration of the ceremony (yes, even during our kiss and recessional!). We have a talented team of photographer/videographers who will be working hard to document the day for us to share with you later, so you can instead be fully present with us for this exciting occasion! As soon as cocktail hour has begun, we hope you will take lots of photos and videos and share in the joy of the day with us by posting your photos using the hashtag #houseaboutido

Question

Do I need to bring money for drinks?

Answer

We will be providing a fully hosted bar for all of our guests, so the drinks are free! However, if you feel inclined to leave a tip for our fabulous bar team to thank them for their service, they will have a tip jar available.

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

For our dinner we took inspiration from Empty Bowls, a great local charity event that we enjoy attending yearly. Our dinner will include an appetizer of charcuterie and two salads, followed by a soup feed and bread table buffet featuring several soup options that are all gluten-free. Gluten-free bread options will be clearly marked. The soup selection will include options to accommodate those with shellfish allergies, vegan/vegetarian diets, a preference for spicy, and a preference for mild. We hope you will go through the line a few times and try a few (or all!) of the different soups.
