What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal. If you wear jeans or hats, you will be escorted off the premises by our dogs.

What are your colors so I don't wear the same thing?

Is there a shuttle service?

Answer

There are no shuttles to Erickson Farmstead. However, if you are staying at the AmericInn in Ham Lake, there will be a shuttle leaving the venue and bringing people back to the hotel promptly at 10:10pm or 10:50pm.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes. The farmstead has a very large parking lot. Cars may be left over night, but must be picked up by 10am Saturday. Pass the main entrance and take the left immediately after the barn. It's a straight up parking lot, you'll know it when you see it. Please note, it's to the right of the ceremony area, so if you are late, everybody will see you and it will be really, really awkward. So, arrive at 4 to mingle and get seated.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

You bet. Tips for the bartenders are extraordinarily appreciated. Cocktail hour will commence immediately after the ceremony. Soft drinks and NA beers also available.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Please don't. We have paid for a professional- please keep your phones down so he may capture the best moments. Pictures are welcome at any other point. We also have a photo booth!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both, if we're lucky. There are four separate areas on the farmstead for activities. Outdoor ceremony, covered cocktail hour, dinner in the barn, and dancing outside. If the weather is decent. If it isn't, everything will take place in the barn.

Are my children allowed?

Answer

This is a grown-up party. Honestly, you won't want your kids here. The only children are the nieces and nephew. Find a sitter, you're not going to want to miss this.
