Courtney and Rose have been in each other's lives for almost 25 years! They first met in kindergarten (their classrooms shared a play area together) but started to become friends when they had their first class together in the 3rd grade. They became better friends as the years went by but got extremely close throughout middle school and high school. These years were filled with sleepovers, beach days, and Rose cheering Courtney on at her swim meets. While Courtney and Rose went to colleges in different states and have continued to live in different places since college, Courtney has continued to be Rose's best friend and more importantly. a friend for life. Courtney is known by her friends as being a very loyal person who always brings the fun, but more importantly she is always there to help a friend when needed. Courtney has lived in Austin, TX for the last 7 years and has a fur-daughter named Poppy.
Allan Lando
Best Man
Allan and Johel met in 2008 through mutual friends and over the years became best friends. Over the years they have even been roommates while living in Rio (in between Johel's contracts onboard the cruise ships). They both have a love for soccer/futebol (even though they are loyal to different teams) and enjoy going to their favorite restaurant Pastitália which is right around the corner from the apartment they shared in Rio de Janeiro. Over the years they have enjoyed traveling around Brazil together and celebrating Brazil's infamous Carnival. Allan just celebrated his one year wedding anniversary to his wife Alessa; they got married in August 2021.
