Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:15pm, please arrive no earlier than 3:45pm. We also ask that guests put away their phones and cameras for an unplugged ceremony. We have a wonderful team of photographers capturing the moment. (Break them out for the reception though!)

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the ceremony and reception, we are asking guests to arrive in cocktail-to-formal attire. Don't forget your dancing shoes! Fem guests can be comfortable in dresses, formal jumpsuits, or power suits. Masc guests are invited to wear lightweight suits with pops of color. All guests are encouraged to wear what makes them feel radiant. Average temps for early October are in the 80s during the day, and 60s in the evenings. Our wedding party will be wearing our colors: burgundy, sage green, and rose gold. For all other events, casual attire is just fine.

Is anyone changing their name?

Answer

Nope! Please continue to address us by our current names, Jacob Back and Rose Watson. The wedding will not use traditional conventions like: The Backs, Mr. and Mrs. Back, etc.

Are children invited?

Answer

We want our wedding to be a fun night away from the little ones so you can let loose and enjoy yourselves, for this reason we have chosen to have a childfree event.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

While your attendance on our special day is the most we could ask for, we do have a registry through Zola on our Registry tab, including traditional gifts and a honeymoon fund if you'd like to help us on our way down under!
