We first met in 5th grade, when we definitely didn’t think much of each other (we were awkward children after all). A few years later, we became friends in high school thanks to dating each other’s friends. Before long, we were going on double dates, attending prom and homecoming together, and even taking cross-country road trips. Even when she moved to South Carolina for college while he stayed in Nebraska, we stayed close through constant FaceTime and texts. After she graduated and moved back to Nebraska in 2024, our story finally started to become something more — and the rest is history.
