Lady Bird Lake

One of our favorite spots and where we got engaged! Take a walk around the lake, rent a bike, or go paddle boarding if you're feeling adventurous. Park at Austin High School and head across the street- you can't miss it.

Barton Springs Pool

Fed by the underground springs, this pool is cold and perfect for a HOT Texas day.

See the Bats at the South Congress Bridge

See the famous Austin bats come out at dusk.

6th Street

Go here for the bars and nightlife.

South Congress Avenue

This street is so much fun! Great shopping and restaurants. Try a drink at the South Congress Hotel, get some queso at Guero's, and stop at Amy's Ice Cream for the best ice cream in Austin.

Magnolia Cafe

Open 24 hours a day, this has always been a breakfast/late night favorite. Walking distance from the Zilker Trail.
