We're getting married on an island! The dress code is semi-casual, feel free to wear what you're comfortable in. We recommend flip flops or shoes that you don't mind getting a little sandy!
No! One of reasons we decided not to get married at a resort is we wanted our guests to have the ability to stay where they want. Please keep in mind that most of the hotels in Isla Mujeres do not allow outside guests that are not staying at the same hotel. Although the island is only 5 miles long, the north end of the island does have more things to do on the days you're not celebrating with us!
Yes! Anybody traveling by air from the United States to Mexico needs to have a valid passport. Although we cannot find an exact answer online, we recommend making sure you have at least 6 months of validity left to prevent any last minute travel issues.
In March, the average high is 84° and the average low is 69°. March is high tourist season and it is typically warm and dry although we do recommend checking the weather before your flight.
Although we do not have a designated shuttle, there are taxis and golf carts for hire to transport you to and from the ceremony. Please make sure you check out the travel tab to book your transportation from the airport to Isla Mujeres.
We're so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list limited. If you need to find someone you know to split a hotel or Air BNB with, please feel free to reach out to us and we can connect you with others that are also coming solo.
We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!
