We are so excited to finally celebrate with you!

Matt and Rose met in 2004 when his father was assigned the new Pastor for the church Rose attended since she was a child. As he was four years older then Rose, they didn't really get to know each other until attending a Mission Trip together in 2009. It was one-night laying in the parking lot under the stars (with our whole group) Rose realized that she liked him. Again, he was 4yrs older than her, so they were good friends texting all the time. They began dating May 9th, 2012 and from then on, we have been through many, many ups & downs. Since then Rose learned that the night under the stars is when Matt knew he liked her also! In February of 2018 Matthew asked Rose to marry him (FINALLY!! LOL)! Since that night under the stars in West Virginia, Rose knew he was the one she wanted to marry, and now they are so happy to finally be doing so!

Matt, Johnny and I (Allison) were sitting at the dining room table, eating a late breakfast on a snowy Saturday Morning. Johnny and I needed to head over to the Jeweler later in the day and we told Matt that he should come with us. I could tell he was nervous but I promised we could just look; he didn’t have to buy anything just yet. All it took was that one trip! He found Rose's ring within twenty minutes of being there. I saw his eyes light up as he held it, knowing how happy she would be with it; staring straight into their future. The proposal came soon after, Matt was so nervous. He told us that he wanted to propose to Rose at the campground in the back of our farm, where we all had spent so many summer nights. So we helped him plan it, watching him analyze every step she was about to take and make them perfect for her. He lit her path with torches and lined it with rose petals, hired a photographer and set a time. Matt drove Rose to the campground and managed to sweet talk her out of his truck. They started their path. Watching from the trees, we could hear Matt talking. Telling Rose just how much he loved her, how much he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. They came to the end of the pathway; he knelt to one knee and asked Rose to spend the rest of her life as his wife! Rose just smiled sweetly and said, “YES!” through a full heart and teary eyes. She then yelled "WHY DIDN'T YOU LET ME DO MY HAIR AND MAKEUP FIRST" and the rest is history.
