The Time: One day after school 1998/1999

A young Daniel stares at a beautiful young Rosa driving her dad's Chevy Chevelle across the parking lot while he waits for his ride. Fast forward 23 years, 8 kids and 1 Christmas miracle later. Daniels at home scrolling through his newly acquired FB app and sees Rosa's FB profile as a suggestion and immediately requests her. His first message: “I have so many questions.
“Her response: “Umm ok”
As a joke I tell Rosa I played the long game but in all seriousness nobody knows what the Lord has planned for us. We sometimes think we are the captains of our own destiny but Isaiah 55:8-10 says otherwise.
Fun facts: It took 396 messages 4 days and some of Daniel’s best work to finally get her number.
She almost cancelled to stay home and watch tv.
He sat, smiled and laughed as he “watched” her talk for 2 hours but couldn’t hear a word she said. So he asked her to extend the date.
