It all began in December 2015 at Bottom Lounge, where a brief encounter sparked a small connection (shoutout bridesmaid Katherine and groomsmen Seege). But fate wasn’t quite ready for them to connect just yet. A year later, in December 2016, their paths crossed again at a concert at Wicker Park’s iconic Subterranean. While they finally had the chance to chat, the timing still wasn’t right. Finally, in July of 2017, after a day of drinking with friends, the stars finally aligned when they ran into each other at Kirkwood (another Chicago staple), and this time, everything clicked. From that moment on, their connection was undeniable. Kevin quickly joined Kelsey’s Lollapalooza plans that year to see The Killers, and their first official date was the next weekend at a Bruno Mars concert—setting the tone for a relationship full of music, adventure, and endless memories. After a year and a half of dating the couple ran off to the courthouse & got married in an intimate ceremony. Seven years later why not do it big?
