We are so excited to share some of our favorite places in the area!
Taxco

Taxco

Taxco, Gro., Mexico

Taxco is famous for its silver jewelry production and Spanish colonial architecture. You can take a tour of prehispanic mines, visit the beautiful local church, and the many silver stores nearby.

Teotenango

Teotenango

Tenango de Arista, Méx., Mexico

Teotenango was an important pre-Hispanic fortified city located in the southern part of the Valley of Toluca. It was initially founded during the last stages of the Teotihuacan civilization by a group generally referred to as the “Teotenancas.” Later, the Matlatzincas conquered the city and expanded it.[1][2] The city existed for about 1,000 years, being abandoned only after the Spanish Conquest of the Aztec Empire

Cosmovitral

Cosmovitral

S/N Avenida Sebastián Lerdo de Tejada, Toluca de Lerdo, Méx. 50000, Mexico
, +52 722 214 6785

The Cosmovitral is a stained glass mural and botanical garden located in Toluca, Mexico. The building takes its name from the mural which is set in the building's huge windows that surround the building and in the ceiling. The building originally was constructed in 1910 as the 16 de Septiembre Market. It was not until 1975 when the first female Mayor of Toluca, Yolanda Sentíes, had the 16 de Septiembre Market reallocated and successfully gauged enough social and political support to transform the building into a space for art. The Cosmovitral was designed by the notable local artisan Leopoldo Flores.

Grutas de la Estrella

Grutas de la Estrella

La Puerta de Santiago, Méx. 51950, Mexico
, +52 722 206 2331

These are underground caves. This is definitely a key place to visit when you come to Ixtapan de la sal. The beauty and magnificence of mother nature. However, be careful if you come with young kids or senior people (+60) as you need to walk and go up/down stairs.

Mexico City

Mexico City

Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico

There are multiple amazing tourist spots in Mexico City. We recommend the tour bus (link above) were you can choose day trips. Among the many attractions we recommend: The Teotihuacan Pyramids and El Palacio de Bellas Artes.

For all the days along the way
