Our story begins in the halls of Staley High School in 2016. Back then, love was shy glances, secret smiles, and sending texts between classes. We were young, innocent, and unsure of everything—except how we felt when we were together. We didn’t stop at high school love. We held on—tight enough to weather the distance, the changes, the uncertainty of growing up. When college came in 2018, and the world got a little bigger and a little scarier, we didn’t drift apart. We chose each other all over again. Navigating through different colleges to then growing closer at The University of Saint Mary, the love never stopped. Dating through college was a whole new chapter—more freedom, more choices, and more chances to become who we were meant to be. It was growing together while growing individually—supporting each other's dreams, even when they pulled us in different directions for a while. 2023 opened our eyes to maturity and real life as we each took the step into the careers that we worked so hard to achieve. We learned what real love looked like: not just butterflies and first kisses, but compromise, patience, and being there when life got tough. We saw each other through moments of self-doubt, mistakes, part-time jobs, and everything in between. But we also built memories that would last forever. We weren’t just high school sweethearts—we were partners in growing up. Now, when we think of our story, we smile not just because of how it started, but because of how far we’ve come. From after football game hangouts and hallway crush to holding hands through life’s real lessons- here is to us, and here is to forever.
