Make sure to have fun and dance—you never know, it might change your life! That’s exactly what happened when Greg asked Rosie to dance at a friend’s wedding. Living in Indiana at the time, they had their first date over FaceTime—on Valentine’s Day. After just an hour on the phone, Rosie said, “this could work,” and booked a flight to visit him. Many flights and unforgettable weekends later, Greg knew Rosie was the one. He moved back to the East Coast, and the rest is history. Luego de muchos viajes y momentos divertidos, Greg supo que Rosie era la indicada. A few months before meeting one another, both Rosie and Greg continued to place their trust in God. Even though at times the waiting became a little hard, they knew that God had their back and that He would not abandon them. This is Rosie's Story: On November 3rd, 2023, Rosie arrived at St. Joseph's Oratory in Canada. After doing a 40-day Novena to St. Joseph with her friends, praying for her future spouse, she encountered a priest that told her, "In one year you will be married or engaged". And so it was, one year later Greg asked Rosie to marry him on November 30th, 2024. But God began making his will clearer to Rosie prior to the wedding as well. One week before meeting Greg, Rosie had a moment with God (in her car) in which Rosie asked God "for real, when will I meet him? I think I am ready now." He told Rosie "But Rosie, did you not ask me for a man that was blond, blue eyed and tall? My daughter, be patient. I have yet to present him to you". At this moment Rosie felt peace. She knew that God would provide in His time. After this happened her mother called and said, "I had a dream you were getting married!" Five days later, Greg asked Rosie to dance, and YES she was a little bit confused at first but then realized that what was about to happen was going to be good! At the end of the night, Rosie told her friend "I think he is the one". On February 14th, 2024, Rosie told Greg, "I think this could work". After she said this, Greg thought she was a little bit crazy, but cool! The rest of the story you probably know by now: He proposed, and she said YES! Here is Greg's story: But let’s rewind just a bit—because the story gets even better. Only three weeks after Rosie said, “this could work,” Greg playfully suggested she come visit him in Indiana. To his surprise (and slight disbelief), Rosie booked a flight almost immediately. “She’s either a little crazy or the coolest person ever to fly out here after just three weeks,” Greg thought. As it turns out, she was definitely the latter. After just one magical day together in Indiana, Greg and Rosie exchanged those three powerful words: “I love you.” In that moment, surrounded by peace and certainty, Greg knew deep in his heart that with Rosie by his side—and God guiding their path—no challenge in life would ever be too great. From there, their love grew naturally, beautifully, and everything began falling into place. And finally, she said YES!
