Travel

Korea boasts one of the most reliable and efficient public transportation systems in the world, making it incredibly easy to get around whether you're exploring the city or traveling across the country. Here's a guide to the different modes of transportation you can use during your stay.

Travel Note

Taxis

Taxis in Korea are not only reliable but also fast (sometimes a little too fast?), providing a convenient way to get around. For an easy and straightforward experience, use the Kakao T app to book a taxi. If you're in a major city like Seoul, Uber is also a great option. Both services are user-friendly and make traveling around the country a breeze.

Travel Note

Trains

Korea's train system is highly intuitive and well-integrated, offering options from leisurely slow trains to high-speed bullet trains. If you’re staying in Cheonan and want to visit Seoul, a taxi can take you to Cheonan Asan Station. Slow Trains: Choose from Mugunghwa, Saemaeul, or ITX trains for a journey to Seoul. This option takes about one hour and provides a comfortable ride. Bullet Trains: For a quicker trip, the KTX bullet train is the way to go. It offers a smooth and speedy journey, taking just around 30 minutes to reach Seoul.
