FAQs

Question

The invitation says "Masquerade Ball Cocktail Reception". What does that mean?

Answer

We want our wedding to feel like a ball, with formal attire and a looser structure, more like a social event than a traditional wedding. There will be heavy apps in lieu of a sit-down dinner, an open bar, and plenty of dancing. To keep in the spirit of the theme, we would love it if everyone wore masquerade masks.

Question

Are children allowed at the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

As much as we love all our youngest family members, this wedding will be an adult only event.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is formal, with masquerade masks highly encouraged. We'd love to see lots of fall colors and jewel tones, with floor length gowns or jumpsuits for women and suits for men. The bride will be wearing black. Please note that the ceremony will be outside (weather permitting), so you may want to have a jacket. There will be a self-service coat room where you can store your jackets after the ceremony. ✨
