Things To Do

We hope you will have time to explore what New Hampshire has to offer! Here are some recommendations:

Kancamagus Highway

Lincoln, NH

One of the best fall foliage viewing areas in the country, easy scenic drive with pull-off viewpoints to see foliage!

Flume Gorge

Lincoln, NH 03251

Suitable for all ages, a scenic very mild 2 mile walk to view the gorge, covered bridges, mountains, and foliage in Franconia Notch State Park

The Mount Washington Cog Railway

Mount Washington, NH 03589

Scenic train ride to the summit of Mount Washington, the highest peak in New England! Suitable for all ages

Basin Cascade Trail

Franconia, NH

Suitable for all ages, 2.5 mile out and back easy trail

Artist Bluff

Franconia, NH 03580

Moderate 1.5 mile hike with stunning views!

Cannon Mountain

Franconia, NH 03580

One of NH's 4000 footers, 3.8 miles, difficult & steep, would recommend for those confident in their hiking abilities. There is also a gondola from Cannon Mountain Ski Area that will bring you to the peak! Panoramic views

Mount Lafayette

Franconia, NH 03251

A difficult all day style hike! Often paired with Mount Lincoln if you are hoping to peak bag some of NH's 4000 footers! Would recommend for those confident in their hiking abilities. Panoramic views

For all the days along the way
