Maid of Honor
My womb-mate and biological other half. She has been a part of my life since I came into this world! It was a no-brainer to have her as my Maid-of-Honor <3 Ever since we were younger, we had this ongoing bet that whoever got married, first, the “loser” had to pay-up $100– well... I’ll accept: cash, check, or money order.
Best Man
One of the funniest people I have ever met and one of Jake's closest friends. He has been there when Jake and I first moved in together and witnessed Jake and I grow as a couple. He is kind, caring, and someone who I am honored to have in our wedding party.
Bridesmaid
My Puerto Rican sistah from another mistah! I met Bianca 4 years ago when I started Illinois State University. We both were auditioning for Vocal Movement, which was a Showchoir at ISU. I was a creep and overheard her say, "Dito" and my eyes lit up, "SHE'S PUERTO RICAN"! I am so happy she is a part of my life and my wedding.
Bridesman
For the past 48 months.... I have been lucky to have made a friend so kindhearted, talented, and ambitious. I met Brandon back in 2015 when I was auditioning for Vocal Movement, a Showchoir at Illinois State University. If it was not for him, I don't think I would have had such a wonderful transition/transfer into ISU.
Groomswoman
My future sister-in-law! I remember meeting Ali after dating Jake for approx. 5-6 months. I was very shy and nervous and she was doing her best to get me to open-up. Now, 3 years later, we text, snapchat, converse at every family-function/visit. She is absolutely beautiful both inside and out.
Groomsman
Jake's long-distance, closest friend for 5+ years. Although they live in separate states, Joe has been a big part of Jake's life and I don't see many days go by when Jake & Joe are not talking and cracking jokes with each other.
Bridesmaid
I met Ms. Angela Sanchez in 2018 when I began Graduate school at Eastern Michigan University. This lovely lady has become one of my best friends. I love her to the moon and back! She has helped me tremendously during times of need and has been there to celebrate during times of joy. She is my Mexican-Jew Biffle <3
Bridesman
Joe and I met back in 2009 during the second 1/2 of my Freshman year of high school. At first, he was just a kid in my class who I couldn't stand because he threw paper in class (which would accidentally hit me from time to time). Then, 2010 hits and he becomes one of my first best-friends in high school. Our friendship is on a whole other level which we deemed S.U.U.L.A, which stands for Super Ultimate Unknown Level of Awesomeness. I love this guy dearly and am so happy he has chosen to still be a part of my life after all of these years.
Bridesmaid
My older sister <3 It is true when people say, "Blood is thicker than water", because I know this girl would do anything to ensure I was safe. We don't get to talk often but when I am in Chicago, she greets me with a giant, warm smile every time!
Groomsman
Jake's older brother =) I remember first meeting Zach at a BBQ that both he and Jake hosted at their apartment. I brought my dog at the time, Kuma, with me and Zach quickly gravitated toward him and immediately took over as "dog-sitter" while I ate and mingled with others. I was super shy to meet him, initially, but quickly realized that he was a fun person to talk to. Now, he will be my future brother-in-law!
Bridesmaid
I met Alissa back in 2015 when I went to Illinois State University. I love her so much! She was and still is my ride-or-die. I remember in one of my very first classes at ISU, we were partnered to share information about each other-- one of those first day of school ice-breakers. It was from that exact moment that I knew she was someone I would want to be in my life forever! She is my BB girl for life.
Groomsman
I remember meeting Troy back in 2016 when I was invited to a BBQ at Jake's house. I will never forget the boy who attempted to jump horizontally into a wooded fence and immediately responded with, "I'm okay- that was fun." Troy is one of Jake's very good friends and I couldn't be happier to have him in my wedding party.
Officiant
My older brother and 3rd parent. From the moment I speculated that I was going to get married, I knew that I wanted my brother to be the Officiant at my wedding. He is charismatic, talented, and can light up any room that he is in. I love him dearly and I cannot be happier that he is my Officiant.
