On May 27, 2023 Alex texted Rosalie and asked her if she wanted to go out to dinner and then the next day they went to yard house for dinner, that is when their love story started. On September 8, 2025 (Rosalie's birthday), Alex and Rosalie were on one of their many hikes at the Claremont loop. Before they reached the top of the loop, Alex convinced her to take a picture of the view of the Inland Empire. When she turned around after snapping the pic, she saw him on one knee and the rest is history.
