Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

We found a wonderful venue! The Cardinal Room Golf Club of Indiana 6905 South 525 East Whitestown, IN 46075 https://www.thecardinalroom.net/

What time is the ceremony? What time is the reception?

Answer

The ceremony will be at 2:30, and the Reception to follow at 4 PM.

Question

What is the dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

We would love for everyone to be in their most loved formal attire for the wedding! Please no jeans. Dress pants, button-up shirts, nice blouses, or below-the-knee to floor-length dresses. Wear something that you feel comfortable in and will not be too warm in!

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, but it is usually pretty warm here by the time May rolls around. Feel free to have short sleeves! You can keep an eye on the weather here in Lafayette using this link: https://rb.gy/hpgb20

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors, but on a covered porch area. The reception will be inside!

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

Immediately after the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures for approximately an hour. Guests are encouraged to head inside or over to The Aviary for refreshments!

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue(s)?

Answer

There will be plenty of parking available at the venue! Parking is free! Arrangements for guests who will not have a vehicle present will be made!

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We sure hope you’ll be able to join us for your special day. With your invitation, there is an RSVP card that you can fill out and return.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please get us your RSVP by April 19th.

Can I bring my kids? Will there be a babysitter?

Answer

There will not be any childcare options available, you will be responsible for your children if you choose to bring them. Please let us know if you plan to bring any children not included in the wedding invite!

Can I bring an extra guest?

Answer

We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out!

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Due to the various times and locations of most of the guests, we will not be booking out any blocks of rooms. Please feel free to book a stay at any of the four hotels right by our venue, or any hotel in Lafayette. You may also contact us for other arrangements! Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes

Question

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We will have a full-service drink station offering soft drinks, water, and juices. We will also be offering our favorite wine. Small snacks will be provided with a delicious dinner to follow, and of course cake and cupcakes for dessert!

I have dietary restrictions, what’s the best way to communicate that with you?

Answer

We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day, please let us know when you RSVP about your dietary needs.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

No. We will only be offering wine and other non-alcoholic drinks.

Are you registered? Where should we ship your gift?

Answer

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from getting in the way of our lovely photographer as we want to cherish all of those captured moments. If you do take any pictures, please remember to share them with us!
