Travel Note
Formia and Minturno are areas close to the church and venue if you are looking for Air BnBs nearby. We recommend utilizing Air BnBs if traveling with a group. The venue also is a resort with rooms available, the link below will take you to their website.
Travel Note
*I HIGHLY suggest hiring a private driver in advance; in this area the drivers are more aggressive than NYC, and the roads can be narrow.* You are, however, able to rent a car and drive in Italy. In order to do this you must have an International Driver’s Permit, which you can apply for at in the link above. It takes about 10-15 business days to receive this by mail according to the AAA website. Here is a link to AAA to get your permit (can go in person or apply by mail): https://www.aaa.com/vacation/idpf.html Here are some links to Italian Driving Laws if you are thinking about applying: https://mamalovesitaly.com/driving-in-italy-tips/ https://wise.com/us/blog/driving-in-italy-as-an-american
Travel Note
This website offers multiple private driver options, but booking must be in advance. Uber is also used in Italy, but only luxury vehicle/taxi drivers are allowed to provide this service. It is a little pricier than America, as not everyone can sign up to be an Uber driver. This also limits drivers available, and are mainly in large cities.
Train
This website is a good resource to find train tickets whether it is regional or local travel.
