Rosie and Mac met at their mutual friends' wedding (shout-out Sarah and Hunter) during the Fall of 2023. While talking, they realized their commonalities: they both lived in Superior, worked at the same grocery store months apart in their early 20s, and had a love of competition. Rosie waited for Mac to hit the dance floor later on, but he stayed outside talking to his 'bros' the rest of the night. As Rosie was walking to her car, Mac FINALLY asked for her number. This sparked the beginning of their journey together. The next year brought various adventures from participating in all the camaraderie of Applefest, exploring the Red Woods and Yosemite, eating at a bunch of fabulous restaurants, jumping into Lake Superior every month, training and completing Grandma's Marathon, summer camping, and competing in a wide variety of sports/games. Their story is just beginning and they are so excited to celebrate the next step of this journey with all their family and friends!
