What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You’ll be missed! If you can’t make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no” so that we can plan accordingly.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse for you to wear your favorite cocktail attire. :)

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

For the ceremony, free parking is available in both church lots. Street parking is also free. For the reception, free street parking is limited. There is a paid parking lot attached to the reception venue that charges $5 after 5:30pm. However, at the ceremony we will be providing our guests pre-paid cards located on the sign in table for the inconvenience. We would also like to note that you should not park in the lot until after 5:30pm. UPDATE: Parking in the lot attached to Sharespace is now free! Free street parking is still available.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around 30 minutes. Guests should promptly head to the reception.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

You already know! We will definitely have an open bar. However, you are more than welcome to BYOB. Please check in all beverages with our bartender.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

If we’re not completely exhausted, of course. If there is an after party it will take place at Sharespace immediately following the reception. We love to party, but we are playing it by ear.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Our intimate wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate the number listed on your reply card. Please feel free to call us with any questions!

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Online would be the easiest way. You can also mail back your RSVP. The deadline is November 7.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, both venues are wheelchair accessible.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Our main mission is to make you stuffed! The Waffle Bus food truck will provide a full meal for our guests. There will also be cake and other desserts. Beverages will be provided, as well as an open bar. All guests with special diets should contact us immediately so that we can best accommodate you.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Absolutely! We encourage guests to post pictures and videos. Our only request is that you tag each photo/video with our wedding hashtag #NormanMakesRosaNervis so that we can keep track!

Of course there will be a DJ and dancing!
