Dayna is Rosa's best friend of seven years. They met when both working at Brown University. Although Dayna has moved onto bigger and better things (one year away from earning her Masters Degree) they've stayed in touch and even lived together for over two years. They've been each other's constant throughout the years.
Katie Evans
Bridesmaid
Katie is David's younger sister, life-long friend, and a proclaimed sister-in-law to Rosa since long before the engagement (she knows things). Katie has been one of David's biggest supporters and is most of the reason why he grew into his maturity with any sense of style. If she had to describe herself, it'd probably be as the Rosa and David's fairy-godmother, because every happily ever onwards needs a bit of magic to back it up and she's always ready and willing to go to bat for both of them.
Rachel Valerio
Best Woman
David and Rachel met in Elementary School at St. Rocco's, where they would grow to become friends and run Cross Country together. Rachel's quiet and quietly silly nature balanced David's big personality and they have been buds ever since. They have shown up for each other and each other's families over the past two decades no matter how far apart they were geographically.
Ryan Kingsley
Groomsman
Ryan has been David's ride or die since the day he was born. Ryan was David's first boy cousin and best friend. From playing super heroes to long games of chess to quiet companionability with a good book, these two were inseparable from the start. Though very different, the bond between these two has never waivered. They are as good as brothers.
Kimberly Tourtellot
Mother of the Bride
Kim is Rosa's adoptive mother. They met as coworkers at Brown University several years ago. Kim has been there for Rosa is so many ways, whether needing a hug or a 2am hospital visit. They made it official in February of 2024. She's also our officiant and a badass crocheter.
Regina Hand
Mother of the Groom
Gina is David's mom. She has loved him every day of his crazy, goofy, energetic life. Gina loves David's whimsy. She encouraged his good heart. She was the root of his family values, aquatic interests and love of nature (and pocket knives). While David has inherited many things from Gina, possibly the strongest resemblance is their loyalty.
Joamalis Malave
Ring Bearer
Joamalis (Joa) is Rosa's oldest niece from her sister Jalisa. She is 14 years old and is actually graduating from middle school on the same day of the wedding. Rosa moved in with Jalisa when Joa was only a year old so they're incredibly close. Joa is so much like Rosa that the family joke is that Jalisa had Rosa's twin.
Jaysali Malave
Ring Bearer
Jaysali (Jaysa) is Rosa's 11 year old niece by her sister Jalisa. She is currently in middle school and loves all things pink and girly. Don't let yourself be fooled, she's a little fighter with a big heart that will share her last chicken nugget with her titi.
Jenalis Malave
Flower Girl
Jenalis (Jena) is Rosa's youngest niece at 7 years old. Rosa had moved out on her own by the time Jena came along so they weren't super close in the beginning, not like her two older sisters. As she got older, she started following her sisters on sleepovers and day trips with Rosa and the rest is history.
