Rose grew up in Southern Oregon with her younger brother Ruben *(Jr), and her parents Dinora and Ruben Tovar. In southern Oregon, Rose attended Rogue Valley Adventist Academy, where she learned about God, made lasting friendships, and continued to grow in varying opportunities to serve and lead in her community. After graduating high school, Rose attended Walla Walla University to study Forensic Psychology. It was there, that Rose met Cody and the two of them became fast friends, often hanging out together with their group of friends. Throughout college Rose and Cody remained good friends, with Rose often referring to him as a "big brother type". It wasn't until the end of Rose's Junior year (May 2021) that something shifted between them and Cody asked Rose on a date. He later asked Rose to be his girlfriend in May 2021. Rose Graduated in 2022 from WWU and Cody and Rose would continue to date until September 2025, when Cody asked Rose to marry him. We're sure you can guess what the answer was! :)
Cody Keller

Cody Keller grew up in College Place, Washington, alongside his older sister Katie, and his parents Sherry and Kris. He attended Walla Walla Valley Academy, where he deepened his relationship with God, built strong friendships, gained a strong work ethic and achieved athletic and educational milestones. After graduating, Cody attended Walla Walla University, where he studied Business Administration, traveled to Spain to learn Spanish and then to Thailand for a business internship. His Junior year he met Rose and the two quickly became good friends. After Cody graduated, the the two remained close friends and eventually started dating a year later. On a recent trip to Hawaii in September 2025, Cody proposed to Rosa and now looks forward to a wedding in May 2026.

Brynn and Rose Met during their sophomore year of college, both seeking alternative roommates, they met at a coffee shop to vet each other out. After a short period of time, they decided to roommate together and became fast friends. Bonding over coffee, tea time, adventures and through distances long and far. Some friendships can evolve and continue to grow with each person, Brynn and Rose's friendship is proof of that. <3
Justin Corral
Best Man
Justin and Cody first met at Walla Walla University. Justin already knew Rosa and some of her friends. One day, he ran into them on campus and stopped to greet them. Cody happened to be with their group and got the chance to meet Justin; his ever present outgoing and friendly nature was on full display and Cody decided to get to know Justin better in the future. A few weeks later Cody invited Justin to a game night where he quickly became good friends with Cody and the others present. Throughout the rest of college, the two often got together on weekends to play games, travel or just hang out. Even with Justin currently living in Florida for his residency, the two have maintained a good friendship which included Cody being one of Justin's groomsmen in 2024.
Anelise DeLaVega

Anelise and Rose have known each other for nearly 17 years! After meeting in 4th grade and continuing to grow up together, Rose and Anelise have had a lot of great memories with each other with all the LOVELY times of awkwardly going through adolescent and teenage years. Rose and Anelise bonded most notably through a shared love of basketball and music. In recent years, in spite of the torrent of adulthood, Rose and Anelise have continued to grow a close and truly valuable friendship.
Jason Schafer

Cody and Jason first met while in 4th grade at Roger's Adventist School. Throughout out elementary the two became friends and would hang out at reccess. In high school, They spent more time together, often going on adventures both in and out of school. They played on the soccer team together and both performed for the Acro Knights after Cody persuaded Jason to join the team. While at WWU they often attended school events, hosted board games and even dance parties. Their Junior year, they both went to Spain. While there they shared a dorm room and traveled the country and to other parts of Europe. The two still get together often whether it be to work out, play sports or go on an annual backpacking trip.
Savanah Zamora

Savanah is one of Rose's cousins, and being only one year apart, Rose and Savanah have been through many great years together both in school at RVAA and in each other's life. Like Iron sharpening Iron, Rose and Savanah have been there for each other and helped each other to grow. And in true family fashion, many dances, arguments, and random adventures to add color and spice!
Rico Graham

Rico and Cody met in 3rd grade while attending Roger's Adventist School. They shared a mutual interest in history and would chat about different stories and hisorical books they had read. In High school the two became much closer friends and would hang out often in a mutual group of friends. In college the two still stayed close, although when Rico left for Spokane to attend EWU they switched more to playing games online and chatting through Discord. With Rico having graduated and back in Walla Walla they have transitioned back to doing all sorts of things togther just like before he left.
Isabell Zamora

Isabell is the youngest Zamora cousin of Rose, and even with a 5 year difference in age, Rose and Isabell have always shared a special bond. Rose and Isabell spent many years playing together, going out together, and also sharing a massive love for animals. Isabell, to Rose, was often considered as the little sister she never had. As both are adults now, Rose and Isabell continue to grow in their warm friendship.
Marshall Lepiane

Marshall Lepiane and Cody are cousins and grew up together. They spent lots of time at the local family farm playing outide, riding dirt bikes and doing airsoft battles. The two attended Roger's, WWVA and WWU together. After college, Marshal moved to California for five years. During this time, he and many of the other friends in the group would chat online to stay in touch aside from the occasional visit. Marshall moved back to Walla Walla in 2024. Now he and the group get together in person often to play board games, try out restaurants in the area or go on fun trips. Marshall is quite the, "yes man" and will almost never decline last minute plans unless he absoultley cannot go.
Carli Zamora

Carli is the oldest Zamora cousin of Rose, with only a 2 year gap, Rose and Carly were often inseparable growing up, and like fire and ice! Rose often looked up to Carli, as she braved many of the firsts of growing up between the two of them and kindly guided and offered help and humor to Rose and her younger sisters. Even with Rose and Carli living in different states, the humor and authenticity in their friendship is still effortless.
Jared Kinsfather

Jared Kinsfather and Cody are cousins and grew up together. They spent much of their childhood playing on the family farm and getting into mischief. Cody and his sister Katie used to egg Jared on to make questionable decisions which would often land him in hot water but kept them very entertained. Jared is an avid fisher, boar game enthusiast and enjoyer of the outdoors. Jared and Cody attended Roger's, WWVA & WWU together. Jared still lives in Walla Walla where he and the group play raquetball weekely, have board game nights regularly and try to backpack at least once or twice a year.
Olesya Merkulova

Olesya and Rose met in June of 2023, when Rose started a new job in Walla Walla with Comprehensive Healthcare. With both of them being new, they would often find each other during breaks and chat. Becoming easy friends, chats turned into early morning walks on the track, coffee runs, and weekend fun! Rose and Olesya have continued to grow closer and enjoy the friendship of deep conversations, fun adventures, and mutual work life!
Johann Schafer

Johann Schafer met Cody in 4th grade at a birthday party for his brother Jason Schafer. The two would interact on and off over the years but would become much better friends while Cody was in College. Johann attneded Roger's and WWVA though he was 5 grades behind Cody and Jason. He is passionate about exercising - with his own in home gym he uses twice a day. He also enjoys the outdoors, with the group often going to parks on the weekend or planning backpacking trips in the late summer. Now attending Boise State University, Johann still makes time to spend with his friends in Walla Walla when possible.
