General Travel Info
Our wedding will be held on Amelia Island, which is roughly a 30 minute drive from downtown Fernandina Beach. If you get a taxi or rideshare from the airport to your hotel in Fernandina, you will be able to access all wedding activities (as well as tourism destinations) by foot and will not need a rental car. We have two hotel blocks reserved -- but there are many hotels in the area to chose from. Please note - the wedding shuttle will depart from the two hotels we have blocked out. It is not mandatory to take the shuttle to the wedding (although we recommend it!); there is ample free parking at the venue. We do ask that you shuttle or rideshare if you plan on drinking, for everyone's safety.
Flight
Jacksonville International Airport (JAX)
The easiest way to get to our wedding is to fly into Jacksonville (JAX) Airport. The commute to the wedding venue and hotels is about 30 minutes -- and can be accessible via taxi, ride share or rental car. Please note - for ride share, it's typically harder to get an uber or lyft after-hours at JAX, so we'd recommend planning ahead for transport to your accommodations if you land late in the evening.
Shuttle
Shuttle from Downtown Fernandina to Wedding Venue

Shuttles will be picking up wedding guests from Downtown Fernandina (walking distance from hotel blocks) and bringing you to the venue. The shuttles will make multiple trips back to Fernandina throughout the night.

Courtyard by Marriott Amelia Island
We have two hotel blocks reserved for our wedding guests. The Marriott is on the east side of the island and is a 6 minute drive or 45 minute walk from downtown Fernandina (welcome party, restaurants, etc).

Hampton Inn Amelia Island at Fernandina Beach
We have two hotel blocks reserved for our wedding guests. Hampton Inn is in the heart of downtown Fernandina (restaurants, etc) and 2 blocks from the welcome party.
Rental Car
Jacksonville International Airport
If you'd like to get a car, you can rent one via JAX airport. It is not necessary to rent a car if you're staying at a hotel in Fernandina and attending our wedding. The welcome party is walking distance from downtown and we will be providing shuttles to and from the wedding venue.
