If I already know I can't make it should I let Payton and Rory know ahead of the RSVP?
Answer
Yes! We understand that everyone is busy! If you already know you have plans and can't make it we would definitely love to know this ahead of time. We will miss celebrating with you!

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Once you have received your formal invitation, please RSVP by September 1st so we can save you a seat (and a slice of cake)!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony starts at 4:00pm so aim to arrive about 20-25 minutes early to get settled in.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration so everyone can relax and party with us!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
If your invitation says “and guest" then yes! If not, we’d love to celebrate with just you this time.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Please dress in cocktail attire. Men should wear jackets, ladies should wear dresses or jumpsuits. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on the lawn; choose your footwear accordingly!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Absolutely—please note any allergies when you RSVP and we'll make sure you're taken care of.

Is there parking at Boxwood Estate?
Answer
Yes! There is a parking lot onsite and there will be signs to guide you. You may leave your car here overnight if needed but please pick it up by 11am on Sunday morning.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We’ve reserved blocks at two hotels in downtown Salisbury for your convenience - Courtyard by Marriott Salisbury and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Salisbury. The link to the hotel blocks are on the travel page of our website. At the end of the wedding reception there will be transportation back to both hotels (15-20 minute drive).

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to Boxwood Estate?
Answer
There will not be transportation to Boxwood Estate at the start of the evening. However, there will be a shuttle at the end of the evening (10pm) from Boxwood Estate to the two hotels under our block in downtown Salisbury (Courtyard by Marriott and Holiday Inn Express). Feel free to still take a ride to these hotels even if you aren't staying there to continue your night in downtown Salisbury!

Yes! Our registry is linked on our website. Your presence is the greatest gift, but if you’d like to help us start our next chapter, you’ll find some ideas there. For Winston-Salem locals we are also registered at Southern Home & Kitchen.
