Sally and Rory are two peas in a pod. The sibling bond is so strong that many minutes can go by at the dinner table with the two of them laughing at inside jokes without Tim or Martha having a clue whats going on. Though distance has brought them apart, Sally and Rory still chat on the phone almost every week in true Pelster sibling fashion. Sally works as a 5th grade teacher at Holy Cross Elementary.
Jacob Barnaby
Best Man
Introduced to one another the summer of Pats sophomore year of high school, rumor has it Jacob thought Pat was annoying the first time they met. True or not the feeling passed as the two proceeded to grow to be best friends, spending the majority of their high school experience joined at the hip. Pat and Jacob spent their days riding track bikes, going to local punk concerts, or simply driving around together on winter break waiting for something exciting to happen (which was rare in Indianapolis). In 2017 Jacob enlisted in the United States Marine Core pursuing a career in Recon, a career he's excelled at. While the two don't see each-other often when they do get the chance its like a day hasn't passed.
Nina Connor

Nina and Rory met at Loyola University Chicago, where for one beautiful semester they were roommates, creating a bond of friendship to last for many years. Nina and Rory's friendship is one of craftiness, chaos, and laughter. They have shared many fun outfits, nights out, and bottles of red wine. Nina is currently an early educator assistant in Lincoln Square Chicago.
Eli House

There's going to be a common thread with Pat's party, and that thread shouldn't surprise anyone...it's bikes. Pat and Eli met through Eli's older brother Noah, a year above Pat in school and one of the first people to take him under his wing. When Pat and Eli met, bikes were a means to get around without cars, and to go out to get in trouble. But eventually the two ended up racing cyclocross on the same team and working at the same shops through the majority of high school and early college. The two traveled the midwest, and the country racing, watching racing, talking bikes, and thinking about bikes. A big difference however being that while racing was and remains just a hobby for Pat, Eli grew to be among some of the most elite cyclists in the country winning national championships, and racing some of the most premier races in North America.
Megan Ladd

Megan grew up across the street from Rory and Sally. After 25+ years together, the Ladds are more family than friends. Megan was the star of many iMovie films and coordinator of fairy houses among other childhood shenanigans. Megan is a talented artist and seamstress based in Portland.
Eli Hasper

Like so many other people in Pat's life Eli and Pat where introduced for the first time through bikes. Having met the summer before sophomore year of high school the two were introduced when Eli's dad Roger arranged through the bike shop he ran for Eli and Caleb to join Pat and friends one afternoon for a ride around the city. In what feels like no time the Eli was part of the crew. Eli and Pat would go on to be co workers at teammates "Joe's Cycle's" traveling the Midwest racing, wrenching and obsessing over bikes.
Eva Ladd

Just a year behind Rory in school, Eva and Rory grew up side by side throughout childhood. From homemade comic strips to elaborate imaginary games, Rory always had a companion on lazy weekends and long summer nights. Eva is currently a manager at Knot Springs, a beautiful spa located in downtown Portland.
Caleb Hasper

Yes you guess right Eli and Caleb are in fact related, and actually met Pat at the same time. The two met on an oppressively hot Indianapolis summer afternoon, at the bike ride the Hapsers dad Roger set up for the boys to make some new friends before starting school the following week. Despite being Eli's little brother it's important to say Caleb was never just the "Little brother" he was always the funniest in the room, and often loudest too. Its hard now for Pat to think back and imagine a moment Caleb wasn't around. Always the first to respond to a text, or the first one willing to hang out with a moments notice Caleb is easily the most loyal friend anyone can ask for.
Molly Charpentier

Rory and Molly completed the 5 year social work program at Loyola University Chicago together. They had their first class together freshman year, but their friendship solidified during their classes sophomore year, especially during their spring semester abroad in Madrid, Spain. Since then, together Molly and Rory have braved the challenges of their first years as school social workers in the Chicago Public School system.
Cole Peterson

I'd say when Cole and Pat met one another but its next impossible to say when that was. The two likely met before they can remember playing on the same Pee-Wee youth hockey teams as 6 year olds. Pat and Cole didn't grow close though until the fourth grade when Pat moved school and became part of Cole's class at Holy Cross Grade School. The two spent all of grade school carpooling home to Cole's house where while waiting for Pat to get picked up they would play hockey in the basement, college football on Cole's Playstation 2 or throw the football in the driveway and hope it didn't get stuck in the tree above them. In the years that followed the Cunningham family and the Peterson family became so close they are more like family than just friends. And while Pat eventually put up his skates and took up bikes in their place, Cole is still a dominant hockey player, and shares his skills with a new generation of players and a coach and mentor.
Demetri Mastorakis

Demetri and Pat met at college at Columbia University Chicago. Despite a few mutual friends and many “hellos” on the way to classes Demetri had no idea who Pat was the first year of school together. But Pat’s friendly nature eventually won and the two would go on to become roommates. Pat and Demetri were in their fifth year of living together when Rory came on the scene, so Demetri had a front row seat to the evolution of their relationship. Demetri currently works in podcast development.
