Absolutely! There is plenty of free parking available at the wedding venue. Note that it is located approximately 45 minutes outside of Austin and partially down a dirt road. Our Honda Civic navigated the road with no problem, however, so your vehicle should as well. Of course, you're welcome (and encouraged!) to take the shuttle we've arranged (more details below).
Yes! Here are all the details: Shuttles will depart from (1) The Sheraton Downtown and (2) The Courtyard Marriott/Fairfield Inn (they are right next to each other, so this will be one combined shuttle stop) at 3:30pm on Saturday. Please be there early to ensure an on-time departure! There will be enough shuttles for everyone, so don't worry if the first one fills up. After the wedding, we will have three times for shuttles leaving the venue - early at 9:30pm, main at 11:00pm, and late at 12:30am for those who wish to stay for the afterparty. All shuttles will make stops at BOTH hotel blocks as needed on the way back; just tell the driver which one you need.
We love your kids, but we want our wedding to be your night off! We’ll be arranging a child care service to make that a reality. More information to come.
Cocktail or "garden party," but comfortable! That means no ties, please, and we recommend avoiding stiletto heels due to the grass and cobblestones. Our wedding will be primarily outdoors, so look ahead to know what temperatures to expect! As long as you can sit, stand, and dance, you should be just fine.
If you want to be walking distance from restaurants, bars, and shops, then downtown is the place to be (and we do have a hotel block there). However, downtown accommodations will always be the most expensive, and we highly recommend NOT renting a car because parking is extremely difficult and pricey. If you don't mind taking Uber or Lyft, or if you plan to rent a car, there are tons of hotels just 10-15 minutes south of downtown (we have a hotel block there too). This will be a more affordable location, though don't plan on much being around there without getting in a car. Finally, if you don't feel like city life, try looking for spots out in Hill Country! There are lots of cute and peaceful options on rental sites (our venue is near Kyle, TX for reference). Definitely plan on having a car if you're going this route.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Absolutely! We think there will be something on our menu for everyone, but please let us know when you RSVP if you have a serious food allergy or other dietary preference (e.g., vegetarian) and we'll do our best to accommodate.
