Watch Hill
Beach, boutiques and home to the one and only- Taylor Swift (sometimes). The chapel will be around the bend from this cute beach town, please explore our favorite antique shop, ice cream parlor and beach, East Beach. There will be sometime between ceremony and reception-beautiful location for photos, grab a drink at Olympia Tea Room or Ocean House, or stake out at Taylors Swifts house.
Narragansett
Walking distance to beach, restaurants, seasonal stores, surf shops and Boon Street Market. Walk under The Towers as you walk the seawall, grab chowder at Monahans Clam shack or enjoy a drink at the Coast Guard House. Side note: Narragansett is home to the Best Marshalls in RI, just saying
Mystic
Mystic, CT is just over the RI border. One of our favorite places to walk the dogs, shop, eat and run... one of us. Our favorite tacos at Taquerio. Italian at Andiamos or Bravo Bravo. Ice Cream at Mystic Drawbridge Ice Cream. Downtown Shops include The Black Dog, North Swell, Island Pursuit, Rochelle's. Olde Mystic Village include additional restaurants, shopping, movie theatre and nearby Mystic Aquarium.
Westerly
Home to the Junk N Java coffee shop, Knead donuts, Hoofs Restaurant, Old Man Joes... visit downtown Westerly for walk through the central park, small shops and bites. Beach access will be available this time of year- Misquamicut, Westerly Town Beach. There is a TJ Maxx, Home Goods is strong in this town.
Matunuck
Home to Roreys elementary school, Carpenters Farm, the Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Ocean Mist and The Pub- hang by the seaside for great views, meals and entertainment. Local Surf shop for attire and/or rentals, beach access and you can expect live music. Unfortunately, Libby will be preoccupied for at least the day of wedding, but as usually, she can be contacted for what events/shenanigans will be happening that weekend at the Pub.
East Greenwich
Where Justin and I first met on Main Street, our first date (and a many more) walks with Wally through the cute, historical streets of East Greenwich. Great restaurants and shops sticker the Main Street- Seven Stars Bakery, Tio Mateos, Main Street Coffee and La Masseria. Neighboring streets include views of the marina and inland coast, Goddard State Park for trail walks. Another TJ Maxx and Marshalls in vicinity if needed- I can advise which one is best to fit your needs!
Newport
Over the bridges to beaches, boutiques, boats and mopeds :) Walkable town with much to do! View the historical mansions, enjoy the scenery of the Cliff walk, visit our favorite lobster spot- Lobster Shack, or stop into one of the many stores along Thames St. Beach access at First and Second Beach or check out Sachuest Point.
