Nope! Indian clothes aren't required! Feel free to wear other appropriate formal attire.
Children under the age of 13 will not be allowed at the Sangeet or Reception but will be allowed at the Gurudwara ceremony (Anand Karaj).
Search for a local Indian boutique and tell them you're going to a Punjabi wedding! Also check out www.mirraw.com and allow several weeks for delivery. You may also find great options on Amazon.com as well. Women should look for the following types of dresses: Salwar Kameez, Anarkali, Saree, or a Lehenga. Men should look for Kurta Pajamas. Please avoid wearing red if attending the ceremony as that is the bride's color. Wearing all-white to any event is also inappropriate, although you may wear a white shirt with your suit or ivory colored outfit. Bright colors are encouraged!
You may take photos at all events except for the Ceremony (Anand Karaj).
