Take a look at the venue and match the vibe! Funky, bright, and bold patterns are definitely welcome here! Springtime florals? Great. Little black dress - that works, too! You can't go wrong with any "cocktail attire", including suit and tie or dark jacket and slacks. Please no jeans! https://marvimon.com/grass-room/ https://kaitiebrainerd.com/modern-and-unconventional-grass-room-dtla-wedding/
The wedding ceremony and reception will be entirely indoors. There is an outdoor patio at the venue that you may gather at, or take a smoke break, but no cigars allowed (venue policy, sorry!).
We strongly encourage using a ride share service (Lyft, Uber, or taxi) to get to the venue, as driving in LA can be very involved. We especially encourage this option if you intend to drink at all. Alternatively, you could check with your hotel if there are shuttles available. This might be a viable option if you know there are quite a few guests staying at the same hotel nearby. VALET OPTION: If you feel up to it, go ahead and drive yourself (and hopefully others) to the venue, and utilize our free valet service! We just need a "headcount" for how many cars to anticipate, so the valet service can charge accordingly, hence the question on the RSVP. You can always update your response to that question by texting Jack or Sarah - hopefully at least a few weeks before the wedding :)
Allow yourself plenty of time to get to the venue about 15-20 minutes early. Keep your eye on what traffic is looking like and plan ahead!
We love your little ones, but we've decided to keep our wedding day for adults only. The venue doesn't allow kids in general, so if you see one, KICK THEM OUT! No but really, we want the vibe to be relaxing and fun. We hope you understand and make arrangements for your young one, so you can enjoy your night child-free! Please reach out to Jack or Sarah for specific details about this, especially if you haven’t already spoken to them about this topic!
If you aren't sure of the answer to this, it unfortunately means no. Due to venue capacity, it simply isn't feasible for us to grant every guest a plus-one. We hope you understand :)
See the "Travel" tab and take a look at our recommendations. In fact, all of the tabs on this website are full of fantastic information regarding the impending nuptials!
We aren't sure about that at the moment. If we do end up hosting any other events, chances are we will stick around our neighborhood (Silverlake, 15min from DTLA). You will hear from us if there is something in the works!
Please RSVP by March 4, 2025 by scanning the QR code on your invite, or selecting the RSVP tab on this website.
