We are SO excited to be planning our dream honeymoon to Switzerland! If you feel compelled to treat us and help us out, we thought you might like to know what our plans are. In Grindelwald, we’ll be staying in a classic alpine Airbnb with a balcony overlooking the Eiger. We can’t wait to wander the charming mountain villages, ooo and ahh over the waterfalls, and spend time at Grindelwald First, an alpine playground with a cliff walk, mountain carts and scooters, and ziplining high above the Swiss Alps. For our hut-to-hut trek, we’ll spend three days traversing through the Alps, staying in cozy mountain huts that reward us each evening with a four-course dinner and a hearty breakfast before heading back out on the trails. In Zermatt, with views of the iconic Matterhorn, we’ll relax after our hut trek with a spa day featuring a sauna and outdoor pool. We’ll even grab a meal at the world-famous McDonalds and enjoy some chill hikes in one of Switzerland’s charming car-free villages. Next, we’ll head to Ascona in the Mediterranean Ticino region for lakeside beach relaxation, a boat cruise into Italy, and aperitivo under the palm trees along Lake Maggiore. For our final night, we’ll be in Zurich enjoying an “Uf Wiederluege, Schwiiz!” (farewell Switzerland) dinner. We are beyond thrilled for this adventure together. Thank you so much for helping make our honeymoon dreams come true.

For those of you joining on the Alaska Cruise, YAY! We are so excited! We've brainstormed a couple of thoughts related to getting to the NCL Cruise Port on Bell Street Cruise Terminal at Pier 66. We have to be on the ship no later than 2:00pm on 6/28/26. If you are renting a car, we would recommend returning it on Sunday, prior to the cruise. If you choose this option, you could rent it from Sea-Tac airport and drop it off at the Downtown Seattle location (1601 3rd Ave Seattle, WA 98101). This is close to the ferry port. We could either arrange a shuttle with the cars parking in the NCL lot or it is a reasonable Uber/Lyft fare from there. There is parking near the NCL ferry port for a fee. https://www.seattlecruiseparking.com/ Please keep Micah and Emily in the loop with your plan. Once we have heard from everyone, we'll make a plan for Sunday, July 5th and getting everyone where they need to go!
