Philadelphia international airport and Newark international have direct flights into Key West airport. If you want to take the scenic route fly into Fort Lauderdale (FLL) or Miami (MIA), rent a car and take the drive down the Keys. Without stopping, it takes around 3.5 hours. But you’re on island time, use this drive to get into an island state of mind . Some stops to make on your way are at Key Largo,Marathon, and Big Pine. We would recommend a definite stop at the half way point which leads you to Islamorada! Make sure to have lunch at the PostCard Inn’s Tiki Bar then continue the trek. One of the most impressive bridges you’ll ever drive across is located on the west end of Marathon in the Middle Keys. This bridge spans 7 miles across the sea, and in some spots, it’s so long and straight you can’t see the end of it. Your ride to Key West will be unforgettable!
