One of the best waterfall hikes in the Catskills. This is not necessarily a walk in the park, but very doable if you take your time. Total time can be anywhere between 1-2 hrs depending upon your route.
This is essentially a rail tour that goes alongside the Esopus Creek. It takes approximately 2.5 hours and requires minimal effort. Can bring drinks, snacks, and dogs, so you know Louis will be attending.
The resort has several dining options including a pizzaria, marketplace, and multiple bars.
Classic spot, especially for the Boomers.
A 30 minute drive but so worth it. It's no frills but very unique, local, and perfect if you want to have a beer while feeling like you're in the mountains.
Another fantastic spot for lunch that's close by. All the locals mention this place.
Great all day spot and is really close to the Rail Explorers
Great spot for breakfast/brunch at Scribner's Lodge which is just down the road.
Fresh bread every day and worth the drive to Woodstock.
