Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

The ceremony and reception will both take place at The Ruin Venue, located at 53229 Pipes Canyon Rd. Pioneertown, CA 92284

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden Party Attire is welcomed. Tuxedos are not required, both knee or floor length dresses are great.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

In Joshua Tree, highs are typically in the 80s during the day in May, and can get down to the 50s at night. Luckily rain is rare!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Nothing will be indoors! The whole wedding will take place out in the desert.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We've lived together for 4 years already and don't need much! We would love some help funding our honeymoon! ;)

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Yes! There is a free open lot at the venue and there will be signage. Please note there will be no cell phone service so ride share will not work.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding will be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Can I bring a plus one?

Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

As Joshua Tree is a very widespread location with different lodging opportunities and limited phone service, guests will be responsible for their own transportation.
