We're getting married!

It was the summer of 2016 and Kelly had just moved up to Chicago after graduating from Purdue. She moved into an apartment in the Wicker Park neighborhood, Not even a week after moving in, she was watching the bachelorette with a girlfriend when someone knocked on her door. When she went to open it, Rony was there to introduce himself and welcome her to the building (he lived on the same floor just down the hall). He invited her up the rooftop for a drink with him and his roommate at the time. She politely declined and thanked him anyways. After the show was over, she decided to go up and see if they were still there. To her surprise, they were still up there and that was when Kelly and Rony officially met and began conversating. A few hours later, they exchanged numbers, and called it a night. The following day while Kelly was at work, Rony texted her and invited her to a Chicago Cubs game that evening (Kelly's first MLB game!). Cubs games became the norm for the beginning of their relationship that year because the Cubs went on to win the world series. The rest is history!
