What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

What is the dress code?
Answer
Our wedding is formal attire. The venue is a historic garden, so there is some walking between sites, so we encourage you to dress appropriately and leave the stilettos at home.

Are children welcome?
Answer
The wedding is adults-only! We encourage you to have a weekend to yourselves and celebrate with us kid-free.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We HIGHLY recommend booking a 1 or 2 bedroom villa in our room block on Kiawah Island. More information on that is available in the "Accommodations" tab.

Is there transportation to the wedding?
Answer
. There will be transportation provided from Kiawah Island to the wedding. If you are not staying at Kiawah, transportation will not be provided. Please note, that there are no Ubers/Ride Share on Kiawah. Roundtrip transportation will be provided for the Welcome Party and Wedding. Pick up will be from The Sanctuary Hotel on Friday, March 14th at 5:45pm and on Saturday, March 15th at 3:00pm. Buses will leave promptly. Transportation will return guests to The Sanctuary or your Villa at the conclusion of the events. If you're staying in a Villa, please use the On-Demand KIGR shuttle (843-768-2900) to get to The Sanctuary for pick up. Please allow 30-45 minutes for service. Consider walking if you are close enough. (Driving to the Sanctuary and using self-park and picking up your car the following day is also an option). Parking is available at the Welcome Party at Mingo Point (a short drive from Villas). While parking is available at the Wedding at Middleton Place, we recommend taking the shuttle if at all possible given the long dark return drive.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
We are having a Welcome Party on Friday night at Mingo Point to kick off our wedding weekend! Everyone is welcome and it will be very fun and casual. Food and drinks will be provided.
