FAQs

Question

Can we come to IKAR services on Saturday if we're not Jewish?

Answer

Yes, please! Everyone is welcome.

Question

Is there parking at IKAR at Saturday? What about for the wedding on Sunday?

Answer

Parking at IKAR on Shabbat is limited. There is parking in the neighborhood, and some people choose to park at the Peterson Auto Museum up the block for $12. There is ample parking at AJU for the wedding on Sunday.

Question

When should I RSVP for the wedding?

Answer

By April 1st, please.

Question

What's the COVID vaccination situation for the weekend?

Answer

For services on Saturday, IKAR requires all people 5 years and older who are attending to be fully vaccinated including the booster. Proof of vaccination is checked at the entrance. For the wedding on Sunday at AJU, we ask that all guests email proof of vaccination including booster shot to sarahandronit@gmail.com. Proof of vaccination will also be checked at the entrance to AJU.

Question

Will wedding events be indoors or outdoors? What about masks?

Answer

IKAR services on Saturday including lunch will be outdoors. At the moment, masks are optional at IKAR. The wedding will take place entirely outdoors at AJU. Currently we are hopeful that the COVID situation will be such that masks will not be needed. Of course anyone who wants to wear a mask should feel free to do so.

Question

Attire? Weather?

Answer

Please dress as you feel most comfortable for a wedding. We expect sunny weather.
