Valentine & Sloane

We were legally married on December 1, 2021. We’d already been engaged for months, but when Sloane lost her health insurance, we figured that was a great reason to make things official. Of course, COVID procluded any large ceremony and we decided to do it quietly in San Francisco City Hall in front of the bust of Harvey Milk. 

We were witnessed by our wonderful gay moms, Marlene & Dorian. We had the most hilarious justice of the peace, who knew Milk and described him as a “sourpuss”. There were many giggles, both at the ceremony and over seafood afterwards. Here are some photos from the day. We are so excited to celebrate in person with all of you in April!
