Women should keep their shoulders covered and men will be asked to wear a kippah (head covering), which will be provided at the synagogue. Please refrain from using technology.
An aufruf is a traditional Jewish ceremony prior to the wedding where the couple is called to the Torah for an aliyah (blessing, ~10 AM). There will be a Kiddush (luncheon, ~12 PM) after services.

Semi-Formal Attire
All events will take place in Temple Emunah. Little ones are welcome! We will have a babysitter & Kids Room set up. Schedule 2:30 pm: Tisch & Kabbalat Panim, or pre-ceremony receptions. The Tisch will be mostly men and the Kabbalat Panim mostly women, but all are free to go between the rooms. 3 pm: Bedeken, or veiling. David will be danced into the room where Ronia is, and will perform a veiling ceremony. 3:30 pm: Ceremony 4 pm: Cocktail hour 5 pm: Party! 9 pm: Last Dance

Close out the wedding weekend with a Goodbye Brunch at the Hurwitz House! Please park across the street in the parking lot.
